New subject added: skilled trades.

Running findAtutor.ca over the years has been a learning experience for me. There are so many new subject areas that I've never considered before that I've learned about. It's been many years since I've added a new subject, I figured that I've pretty much covered them all, and then a welding tutor signs up.

So I think to myself "of course!" There are many different skilled trades, that have a long tradition of apprenticeship programs. This is just another type of tutoring, and masters of their craft want to pass on their skills and knowledge to the new upcoming trade workers. With increasing popularity in DIY projects, many people don't necessarily want to work in the trades, but use it for weekend projects. Hiring a trades "tutor" to learn a skill on their own time is perfect.

This is an open invitation for all skilled trades workers out there to add a listing to findAtutor.ca. You can find out how to add your listing on the tutors page. I'm looking forward to the trades becoming as popular as the academic subjects!
