I provide instruction in learning strategies and organizational skills as well as specific content area help. I have co-taught in mathematics classes (Algebra I&II, Geometry) and assisted students in all core content areas.
I live in the Yonge and York Mills area of Toronto/North York and can travel to the student's home or a library nearby.
My background is in special education (more than 17 years teaching experience) in the high school as well as intermediate grades (grades 6 and up). I have found that kids need a plan in order to be successful in school, and one on one tutoring can assist in developing this plan as well as achieving independent success. I am certified to teach in Ontario and Alberta, Canada and Pennsylvania, USA.
