My university background is in environmental science, but I have a strong personal interest in the humanities and social sciences. I am a certified high school teacher with OCDSB, currently teaching mathematics. I have several years of experience tutoring students at various academic levels (up to first year university/college) and ages. My tutoring style is patient and hands on, as I try to translate difficult concepts into simple terms. I try to avoid simply giving the student the answers and instead encourage them to think independently and apply their own understanding.
