I am an OCT-certified teacher who has work experience in both the private and public sector, and almost 10 years of one-on-one tutoring experience. I graduated at the top 2% of my undergraduate class from the University of Toronto and obtained a Masters Degree in English Literature from the same institution. I also have ESL qualifications with the Ontario College of teachers, and have ample hands-on experience teaching English language learners. I tutor university-level and high school students.

I provide instruction in learning strategies and organizational skills as well as specific content area help. I have co-taught in mathematics classes (Algebra I&II, Geometry) and assisted students in all core content areas.

My background is in special education (more than 17 years teaching experience) in the high school as well as intermediate grades (grades 6 and up). I have found that kids need a plan in order to be successful in school, and one on one tutoring can assist in developing this plan as well as achieving independent success. I am certified to teach in Ontario and Alberta, Canada and Pennsylvania, USA.
