Tutoring is offered in all aspects of English to all levels of English language users. Tutoring is also offered in Humanities particularly in Critical Thinking History and Philosophy.

Preferably at my home near Upper Ottawa and Fennell Ave. E or at a local library.

I am an accomplished adult educator who holds a BEd (Adult Education), TESL certification through TESL Ontario and a PhD in Religious Studies. I have more than 20 years of experience teaching individuals and groups from a wide variety of educational and social backgrounds. I am also a published writer. The well being and success of my students are the central reasons for my wanting to tutor.

Currently, I am working towards my ESL qualifications. I have over 5 years teaching experience in both elementary and secondary schools, and very much enjoy helping students succeed. I'm a fully certified TEACHER with my intermediate/senior qualifications in History and Religious Studies. I'm able to tutor almost every subject area, especially confident in the humanities and social sciences. English...no problem!

I graduated McMaster University with an Honours BA, and more recently, Brock University with my Bachelor of Education. I have experience in the high school classroom with the Hamilton and Halton Catholic School Boards, at various grade levels. I have also taught around the world, in Kenya, Africa and Beau Sejour, Haiti. Teaching is my passion and students respond well to my instruction. I'm a dedicated and patient teacher; motivating and energizing students to learn is my ultimate goal.
