I am a certified teacher with 20 years experience in Ontario.I have additional qualifications in Reading and Special Education(OISE/UoT). I teach reading strategies, reading comprehension, writing, spelling. Also Mathematics & ESL.

I am patient, versatile, and able to provide individualized program based on needs, interests and the Ontario Curriculum. I always try to employ various strategies and methods to help my students. Polish language lessons for children and adults are also possible (experience in adult education).

I have a Masters Degree in Elementary Education and have been tutoring for eighteen years. My style is creative and approachable and I have a great rapport with children. I tend to think outside the box in developing creative programming for my students' individual needs. I am a recent graduate of York Universities Faculty of Education. Before entering the Faculty of Education I spent several years volunteering in the classroom and teaching music to all ages. I also have experience working with students with special needs in many different capacities. I love teaching and working with students one-on-one to help them understand the concepts that they are learning about in school and to overcome any obstacles that may stand in the way of their success.
