I am a qualified History and Geography secondary school teacher, with specialist qualifications in Religion. Other subjects I have taught include English, and Civics/Careers. Currently, I am working towards my ESL qualifications. I have over 5 years teaching experience in both elementary and secondary schools, and very much enjoy helping students succeed. I'm a fully certified TEACHER with my intermediate/senior qualifications in History and Religious Studies. I'm able to tutor almost every subject area, especially confident in the humanities and social sciences. English...no problem!

I graduated McMaster University with an Honours BA, and more recently, Brock University with my Bachelor of Education. I have experience in the high school classroom with the Hamilton and Halton Catholic School Boards, at various grade levels. I have also taught around the world, in Kenya, Africa and Beau Sejour, Haiti. Teaching is my passion and students respond well to my instruction. I'm a dedicated and patient teacher; motivating and energizing students to learn is my ultimate goal.

I have been teaching in British Columbia for four years full time and am currently certified to teach in Ontario. I have taught K-8 classrooms and French as a Second Language for grades 5-10.
